What are essential characteristics of good teaching, and how are these characteristics implemented for remote, hybrid, and online teaching? If you are reading this, you already have two of the most important characteristics–you care enough to be a lifelong learner, and you are a highly knowledgeable content expert. Participatory sessions will address three additional characteristics essential to quality online teaching: communicating with students, connecting students within your course, and creating relevant activities online. Sessions are designed to provide you with information and skills needed to implement these essential characteristics of good teaching in any teaching modality. Sessions will be recorded for future access, and are facilitated by faculty and staff from Ferris eLearning, Ferris FCTL, CMU, and GVSU. All sessions open to participants from these institutions and area HS partners.
